Stephen Ibyem: NLS Class 2003 Mourns

Stephen Ibyem, Esq., Head of Legal Services at INEC, Yola Office, was this morning confirmed dead.
According a WhatsApp post by his Call Mate, Ibyem, collapsed at the Court of Appeal in Abuja but was resuscitated and he proceeded to Yola, only to breakdown in Makurdi, where he went into coma, before kicking the bucket this morning of 28th December, 2023. Stephen Ibyem, Esq., was called to Bar in 2003 and the members of NLS Class of 2023, are in deep shock and are expressing with fondness, memories they shared with him while he was alive.
His mates unanimously described him as gentle, amiable and hard working brother, friend and colleague.
The official statement issued by Dorcas Udhedhe Arorote NLS 2003 Welfare Secretary reads; “Dear classmates, we are mourning. Not only the loss of our colleague but the loss of a father to his new born . Our dear departed colleague just welcomed his second child before his demise . As is our custom of empathy, please let’s reach out to his family.”
