The 4th Edition of Chief Of Defence Staff, Armed Forces And Other Security Agencies Marathon Championship 2023 will pace off on Saturday 9th December.
The teams to participate are; Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Police Force, Directorate of State Security Service, Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Customs, Nigeria Immigration, Directorate of Road Traffic Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, Federal Fire Service and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. Theme of this year’s marathon is: Enhancing security agencies cooperation through sports. 
Starting off point is Public Service Institute along Kubwa Expressway and will end at Aguiyi-Ironsi Cantonment, Abuja.
Kubwa express from Dutse Junction to AYA, will be shutdown from 11 PM on Friday 8th December through the duration of the marathon on Saturday 9th December.
Users of Kubwaexpress, are advised to use Kubwa-Zuba-Giri Junction to Lugbe.-Area 1 or Wuse.
The Chief of Defence Staff, regrets any inconveniences this will cause of users of Kubwaexpress.
