Members of the NBA-SBL Northern Zone Committee paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Emir of Kano, Dr. Aminu Ado Bayero, as part of the Committee’s pre-conference activities. The purpose of the visit, amongst others was to interact with the Emirates, brief the Emir of the forthcoming Conference and its Program as well as formally invite him thereto; scheduled to take place in the heart of the city of Kano on October 12, 2023. 
The delegation ably led by the Alternate chairman of the Conference Planning Committee Barr Wada Ahmad Wada, was warmly received by the Emir. While appreciating the Committee for its thoughtfulness and pro-activity in paying a visit to the grand and breathtaking palace of the Emir, he expressed great delight at the choice of Kano as the choice venue for such a prestigious and inaugural conference especially given the fact that Kano is the economic hub of the North. 
Speaking further, His Royal Highness offered prayers for the success of the conference. He informed the delegation of the adoption of the conference as his conference and promised to grace the occasion with his royal presence.
It is important once again to remind all and sundry that the NBA-SBL Northern Zone Inaugural Conference is set to be held in Kano, Kano State, on October 12, 2023, with the theme: “Strategic Legal Mastery: Arbitration, Corporate Governance, and Intellectual Property Landscapes.”
