The NBA Lokoja Branch deserves all the accolades for organizing its law week amidst these challenging times and for also holding a peaceful election which saw the emergence of SAM AKOJI Esq., as Chairman elect, and M. B. Mohamed Esq., as the Secretary elect.
The theme of this year’s law week, “True democracy and the role of Legal Practitioners in Nigeria,” is highly relevant and highlights the importance of legal professionals in upholding democracy.
In a Country like Nigeria, where the rule of law and democratic values are crucial for development and progress, Legal Practitioners play a significant role. They are not only responsible for upholding justice and fairness but also for safeguarding the principles of democracy.
Amidst the various obstacles faced by Legal Practitioners today, including political interference, corruption, and inadequate resources, the NBA Lokoja Branch’s commitment to organizing the law week demonstrates their unwavering dedication to their profession and the pursuit of true democracy.
