Dear Conferees,
Welcome to Abuja and the 2023 AGC!
Further to the attendance of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the Opening Ceremony, please note the following important announcements.
1. The main access gate into the MKO Abiola Stadiums has been blocked FOR TODAY.
2. The only designated access into the stadium for today only is through the AREA 1 (Games Village) Gate. It is well known to all taxi drivers.
3. Upon entry, kindly turn left and follow the signs to the shuttle bus muster point and park your vehicles in the public car park or alight from your taxi.
4. There are shuttle buses to convey conferees from there to the registration area and the Velodrome.
5. ACCESS cards will be handed out to conferees at the entrance before moving forward for DSS clearance and scanning. 6. Only conferees with their conference tag and access card will be admitted into the Velodrome.
7. Please line up in an orderly fashion and kindly listen to instructions from the security operatives who will be on hand to maintain decorum and ensure the safety and security of all conferees and guests.
8. Once the Velodrome is filled up, conferees will be diverted to the Breakout Halls.
9. All guests in the Velodrome must be seated by 3:00pm prompt as the doors will be shut soon thereafter.
10. Please note that not everyone can enter the Velodrome and we appeal for your cooperation if you are unable to get in after it is filled up. Adequate and comfortable arrangements have been made in the Breakout Halls.
