With gratitude to God for safely bringing all conferees to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, for the 63rd Annual Conference of the NBA, I welcome you.
The AGC, is the most craved event in the diary of the NBA for its rich intellectual content and the opportunity it offers lawyers to reunite with colleagues, call mates from all over the country.
This year’s theme; Getting It Right, is apt and contemporaneous at this trying time in our Nation and also in our beloved profession.
The Nation cannot get it right, if the NBA fails to get her members to get it right in all their conduct and dealings with their clients.
As we listen to the array of legal luminaries and social commentators assembled to do justice to this year’s theme and sub-themes, I urge you to internalize the lectures and GET IT RIGHT with the right frame of mind.
