According to Chubby Obianyo, Esq., Publicity Secretary NBA Idemili Branch; a member of the Nigerian Police Force of the Onitsha Area Command (name unknown and on white polo and dark jeans) assaulted Vitalis I. Jimeh, Esq for executing a judgement of the court through the bailiffs of the Magistrate Court Ogidi and which was duly signed by the Magistrate and the ACR. 
The Execution of the court in the matter with Suit No. MID/1207/2023 Between Mr Peter O. Ihebighi v. Mr. Oliver Ananambu was levied on Thursday the 24th of August, 2023. It was the next day being Friday the 25th day of August, 2023 that the complainant’s son paid the police to harass the lawyer for doing his job.
The said Execution which was done under Ogidi Area Command had police officers from Onitsha Area Command under the leadership of the Area Commander Onitsha coming to harass a lawyer. The NBA Idemili Branch has condemned this barbarism and brutality by the Police on Vitalis I. Jimeh, Esq who is a member of the branch and has vowed to take all necessary and legal actions against the Police and the complainant/judgement debtor.
