History:

The most popular and developed Area Council in Abuja, is Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) It has the following popular Districts; Garki, Wuse, Asokoro, Maitama, Utako, Lugbe, Jabi, Guzape and Central Business District.
Wuse is subdivided into Zones and Garki is Area. So when you want to board a taxi, Area 1-11, is Garki, Zone 1-7, is Wuse.

The Three Arms Zone is the seat of power in Nigeria. It houses, the Aso Rock Villa, Supreme Court and National Assembly.

All Area Councils in Abuja, has its unique nightlife. But the part akin to Las Vegas, is Wuse 2. All your heart desires, will be legally met here.
After Wuse 2, comes Gwarinpa. Gwarinpa, is the largest estate in West Africa but often referred to as low budget wonna be FESTAC town.
