With just a touching distance to 25th of August, the arrival date for conferees to the 2023 NBA AGC, the satellite town of Kubwa is agog as though it is Christmas and Sallah season.
Kubwa, is the largest satellite town in the FCT and should not be compared to Gwarinpa, the largest estate in West Africa.

But if you have nowhere to lay your head and keep your “conference material” or the accommodating family house, cannot accommodate extra luggage, there are hotels in Kubwa that can offer you comfort at less than N20,000 per night.
Also, if you cannot afford any of those expensive hotels with complimentary breakfast, there are places around Kubwa, wherein you can eat any mouthwatering local dishes at unbelievable prices.
For those coming into Abuja via Kaduna, your best bet, is to board a train at Rigasa and stop at Kubwa train station, rather than proceeding to Idu. Idu is far from city centre, far from Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse and Garki. But within 17 minutes drive, you are in city centre.
As a matter of geographical fact, it is Kubwaexpress road that demarcates AMAC(City centre) from Bwari Area Council(Kubwa is the cosmopolitan part of BAC)
