2.REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE MONITORING: PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE Date: September 12-14.

Course Objective:
The Course is designed to explore aspects of regulatory and compliance at the national and international levels.
The Course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to develop a n d maintain effective regulatory systems. It will further enlighten participants on key compliance principles, strategies a n d monitoring procedures in the workplace.
The Resource Persons selected for the course a r e seasoned academics a n d practitioners who are sure to provide deeper understanding of best techniques for responsible compliance with applicable laws and regulations, in line with current realities.

3.Course: Data Protection And Intellectual Property; Law, Policy and Practice
Course Objective: The Training Course on Data Protection and Intellectual Property: Law, Policy and Practice is for the vast Intellectual Property (IP) and Data Rights communities/industries including but not limited to Corporations, Government and Public Institutions engaged in the use of big data in their various activities, and rely on data and digital technologies to drive their transactions and businesses. The objective of this three-day course therefore, is to: understand the fundamentals of Data Protection and its intersection with Intellectual Property.
It’s also essentially to participants in different private and public sectors gain broader understanding of the policy, law and practice of data protection and its conceptual and practical relationship with Intellectual Property, which regulates the broad range of legal rights in the data such as copyright, trademark, trade secrets or confidential information, patents, and designs. Course fee: N150,000 (One Hundred & Fifty Thousand) Naira, only.
