As we all know, Nigeria’s democracy is still in its formative years, and our roles as lawyers in shaping the electioneering process and promoting good governance cannot be overstated. The bar and bench have a crucial responsibility in ensuring that the rights of citizens are protected, the rule of law prevails, and that those entrusted with public office are held accountable for their actions.
