The NBA Lagos Branch( Premier Bar), will today, cast their ballot, to choose who will navigate the affairs of the Branch, from where Ikechukwu Uwanna, will berth the Branch.
Electoral Committee chaired by Wale Akoni San has engaged the services of an USA ICT company, to provide the voting platform for about 1757 voters. The titanic battle for the ultimate crown has the trio; Mr. Mayowa Owolabi, a Partner at Pistis Partners LLP, Mr. Adebola Lema, a Managing Partner at Fountain Court Partners and Mr. Olabisi Makanjuola, a Partner at Olanihun Ajayi LP; battling for the coveted seat.

Pundits have narrowed it to a two horse race of Mayowa & Olabisi due to their fraternity with the big commercial arm of the Premier Bar, with big law firms throwing their weights behind them. Another odd in their favour, is the backing of former NBA President and NBA Presidential Candidates. While others support are in the realm of speculation, Olumide Akpata has bared his chest and leaves no one in doubt that he is rooting for Mayowa Owolabi.

Despite this lump sided support for the duo by the heavyweights in the Premier Bar, some watchers of political affairs in NBA, are calling that Lema, Esq the underdog, may pull a deadly surprise that will turn the apple cart.
They further opine that when two brothers fight to death, their father’s mistress son, will inherit their father’s farm lands. Will Lema be this proverbial son?
The voters casting their votes secretly, starting from 5am today June 27th, will decide.
