The remaining obstacle to the conduct of NBA Nyanya/Karu Election has been removed.
Of all the Petition-Obstacles, the one that went to the root of the competence of the Steve Emelieze,Esq led Committee, was the petition filed by Ichie Magnus Onwuka.
After hearing the petition, the A.A.Ibrahim SAN chaired Panel gave Steve Committee a clean bill of health. Against this backdrop, the first democratic election into NBA Nyanya/Karu Branch, will take place on Saturday, June 17, commencing from 9 am.

4.3 ICHIE MAGNUS ONWUKA.
The Petition is hinged on his disqualification from contesting the position of Chairman and the Electoral committee refusal to give him the CTC of Register of attendance of meetings. The petitioner (aspirant) admitted that he attended only two (2) meetings.
FINDINGS
The Appeal committee finds as a fact that the aforesaid Petitioner did not attend more than two meetings of the branch. Ichie Magnus Onwuka is not qualified to contest the position of Chairman of NBA Nyanya/Karu Branch. The decision of the Electoral committee is affirmed by this Electoral Appeal Committee.
The petitioner stands disqualified and the request for Certified True Copy of the Register of attendance was made to the wrong party and rightly refused by the Electoral Committee Chairman.
There is nothing on record as alleged by Magnus Onwuka that the Electoral Committee is biased against him.
The allegation has no merit and petition dismissed.
