The news flying around on social media about plane crash in Kubwa, has been dispelled by the spokesperson for the FCT Fire Service, Mr Amiola Adebayo. 
According to Adebayo, “there was no plane crash in Kubwa. There was only an explosion caused by a fuel tanker crash in Gwagwa tonight and our men have been deployed to the scene of the incident.”
A police source who spoke with https://punchng.com/explosion-rocks-abuja-suburb/?amp , also noted that the explosion resulted from a fuel tanker crash. “It wasn’t a plane crash but a fuel tanker crash that led to the explosion,” the source said.
