NBA Nyanya/Karu Branch that was chiseled out from NBA Abuja due to lingering crisis, went into her own crisis before NEC rose from Ilorin, where the announcement of its creation was made by Olumide Akpata, Esq.
The crisis lingered until YC Maikyau OON, SAN, NBA President, set up a Steven Emelieze chaired committee, to amongst others, conduct election in the branch.
On June 9, one year after the Ilorin NEC’s resolution on the unbundling of Unity Bar into Nyanya/Karu, Garki and Abuja, Nyanya/Karu, will hold its election.
The following listed herein, are eligible candidates, whom the branch members, will have to choose.
Chairman contest is between;
Adah Monday Isah and Ibolo Ehikioya Augustine.
Vice Chairman; Ozoemena Roxanna Ngozi, is unopposed.
Secretary, is Olise Adaeze Judith, her opponent Ejido China Echika withdrew from the race.
Assistant Secretary, Оbeta Moses Ejiofor and Idoko Grace Agnes, will sweat it out.
Social Secretary is a race between Blessing Augustine and Ogbaga Ogba Emmanuel.
Treasurer Bula Kelle Zakayo and Olawuyi Justina are insisting they best to be trusted with the branch’s treasury.
Publicity Secretary; Uyi Aivinhenyo Osemwegie, his opponent was disqualified from contesting.
Welfare Secretary is between Abung Iveren Bridget and Agundu Terfa Titus.
Financial Secretary John Chinonso Simon
Provost both candidates who indicated interest and returned their forms, were disqualified because their names were not on the attendance register.
