Responding to barrage of complaints from lawyers, who are desirous of cashing in on the early bird window, to register for 63rd edition of the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA AGC); the Alternate Chairperson of the AGCPC, Oyinkan Badejo-Okunsanya FCIArb says that the AGC Planning Committee, is currently “dealing” with the issues, and would emerge with a solution, so satisfactory that no body, will be denied the opportunity of paying early.
According to a member of the Committee, who doesn’t want his name mentioned, some of the glitches, are as a result of lawyers, inputing information different from what is already saved on the database.
If you recall, on Monday May 15, 2023, during a press conference in Abuja, during the unveiling of the Registration portal, the NBA President stated that the portal will automatically skip you to pages where you will complete your registration, if the information you input, are same as the information you used for registration for 2022 AGC.
This year’s AGC, will hold from August 25 till September 1, 2023, at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
According to the IT Consultant, Mrs Nkiru Okeke, using uppercase by delegates will play a vital role in registration for the conference.
“If it is missing even just one letter, or has a capital letter instead of small caps, it will read invalid.”
