A Happy Posthumous Birthday To The One That Left Mortality For Mortals: Ogaga Emwongware

Dear Ogaga Baba,
I do not know the time over there but here, I started this short letter by 12:19 P.M, unlike Mariama Ba,’s So long a letter, this is so short a letter and it’s sunny here in Abuja Nigeria, where I am to discuss on a topic concerning new Areas for young wigs in Bwari Branch.

Just to give you feedback, that the Nigerian Bar you held in much respect like the Jews of old , cherished the alabaster box is doing well in some areas but like every human institution, it’s not yet uhuru.
The political situation of the African Country you lived before you took the bold step to align with the extra terrestrial is yet to improve, Nigerians complain of poor INEC conducts during the last Presidential elections and primitive ballot box snatching took place, and as usual a Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal was set up to see to these.
Kidnapping is still a lucrative Business for the enemies of the State, your colleague from Benin Branch was kidnapped but thank God he was released.
The Welfare of Young Lawyers whom you so cherished is still a vexed question and inordinate debates are still on what is adequate remuneration for the Nigerian Young Lawyer.
The World has not ended as the scripture told us, some of us your earthly friends still gather in convivial mode to drink wine and talk about your zest for for a Better society and how with hard work you rose to fame in the speed of lightning.

I still see some of your colleagues in office, relying on pleadings you filed in court am sure they have nothing to amend because you always put legal ingenuity in you pleadings and your written addresses were superb.
You have not faded in our hearts, and we most profoundly remember your 42nd Birthday, when we drank in jackets in your office in Benin .
We have not remembered your bad sides, we take your perceived bad sides in fun and laughter because your generosity outweighed them.
The Armaric proverbs says ” irrespective on whether there is heaven or hell, it is good to do good” Ogaga Baba, we believe you are not in sombre mode wherever you are, for your smiles are evergreen without a lips of disapproval . Enjoy your Birthday, two or three glasses of red wine in the midst of beautiful people will certainly make you smile as always…
