The drums of NBA 2024 is gradually reaching a crescendo and those who consider themselves fit, have started consulting and the political space is awash with buzzing of, “has A told you that he wants to contest?”
“Bros, let me be the first to tell you that I am interested in XYZ position next year, I hope you will support me?”
You know 1st, 2nd, 3rd Vice and GS are zoned? I want to be the first from our zone to tell you; kindly support me.
These are hilariously serious, as some serving Exco members of the less than 1 year old administration of YC Maikyau OON, SAN are on this wagon, moving around soliciting for support. I had to ask, why not allow your work in this Exco, speak loud and let the Bar consider whether to reward you with greater responsibilities?
We cannot distaste career, sit tight, old politicians and condone same in our NBA, that is supposed to be beacon in how other associations conduct their affairs.
Of all the buzz that has being piercing my eardrum, is the story that Muhammad Tsav, is consulting too. I became excited. It is payback time. I will retaliate. 
Muhammad Tsav, was my nominator, whose NBA Bwari dues was adjudged that I did not submit in my quest to contest for Publicity Secretary in 2022. He made spirited efforts, tendered letter of good standing from the branch but I guess the principalities in NBA’s Electoral Committee, were briefed on what to do. Has bygone been bygone?
So against this backdrop, I am watching him.
I served as Secretary to him in NBA Bwari. We had our ideological differences and when I resigned to go contest Imo State House of Assembly in 2019, he was paid and sent me a note, wishing I had stayed to complete our administration in June. Apart from being NBA Bwari Chairman, he has served NBA selflessly in the following capacities; Member TCCP 2018.

Tsav as I fondly call him, is the President-Elect Rotary Club of Abuja, The Ambassadors, District 9125.
