Following the conclusion of the 2023 general elections, 257 Judges have been nominated by NJC, to election petition tribunals.
The Judges drawn from various courts across the country including State High Courts, Federal Capital Territory High Court, Federal High Court, and the National Industrial Court, will be responsible for adjudicating disputes arising from the general elections into various offices in 2023.
FCT Abuja, has 9 Judges on the list and for the duration of their service at the tribunal, their courts will not be open to lawyers and litigants.
Some lawyers, who appeared before these courts, were asked to take a date, with the closest being December 2023.
