Breakfast With 2023 NBA AGC Planning Committee Chairman

I got wind that the Committee met yesterday. People kept asking me for expo as though I had the charm to perch on all walls wherever NBA affairs are being discussed.
So on this eve of Nigeria’s General Election, I drove to Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN’s office without calling ahead.
Che, how can you come to the office without calling? Now, I am not in the office but have a meeting at (name of hotel withheld-they no pay for advert.)
So we sat, poor man mentality took over me and I refused the buffet and opted for beer. He was insistent but I stick to my beer and by the 2nd bottle, we have entered how this year’s AGC must succeed.
The problem with AGC over the years, have been Conference Material delivery. Any AGC that succeeds in managing this, is adjudicated as sucksexful (beer is getting the best of my fingers).
This was brought to Mazi’s attention and he assured me and I truly believe him that, this year’s AGC, will be the best in the living memory of NBA. This is not an empty boast but a reasoned, deep released assurance from years of experience.

Mazi has consistently delivered excellence from his days as Publicity Secretary of NBA Abuja, hosted successful NEC meeting as Chairman NBA Abuja and as the able, dependable General Secretary under Alegeh SAN’s administration, he has seen the glitches, lapses that results in AGC failure.
He humbly appeal to lawyers, to pay for AGC once NEC approves the conference fee payable, to enable his committee plan with the number of lawyers who will register.

Mazi, the NBA Golden boy, further assures lawyers that with the avowed policy thrust of YC Maikyau SAN of restoring the dignity, integrity and respect of the Bar, that this AGC, won’t be a dent but an added landmark in the glowing administration of YC.

Did I tell you that I asked for 3rd bottle and he was willing to oblige me, only that I remembered that despite being called to Bar 21years ago, it is professional misconduct and a conduct unbecoming of a lawyer to be tipsy in the aforenoon?
