There will be temporary cessation of regular water supply in greater part of Abuja starting from the Tuesday 10th of January to Thursday 12th and normal water supply will be pumped through the pipes on the evening of Saturday 14th.
According to public notice issued by Management of FCT Water Board, this is to enable it, carry out an emergency maintenance at Lower Usuman Dam.
The areas to be affected by this disruption are residents of Kubwa I, Kubwa 2, Maitama, Asokoro, Garki I, Garki 2, Airport, and Gwagwalada areas.
Against this backdrop, residents of Abuja are advised to store water for the period of this maintenance in order to avoid any inconveniences.
