Omobalanle Raheem’s Burial Postponed Indefinitely

The burial of Ms. Omobalanle Raheem, Esq murdered by Nigeria Police on Christmas Day at Ajah Lagos, scheduled to take place on Tuesday 10th January, has been postponed.

This was contained in a statement issued by Funmi Adeogun  and shared in WhatsApp platforms of NBA Branches in Lagos State. She cited undisclosed “certain critical legal procedures” as reason for the postponement.
Our investigation revealed that autopsy has not be done and Inquest in accordance with the provisions of Lagos State Coroner Law not met.  The statement reads;

Good morning colleagues,
I trust we all had a great night rest. Permit me to use this medium to notify everyone that due to certain critical legal procedure, the planned funeral activities for our sister scheduled for 9th & 10th of January have been cancelled. New dates will be communicated in due course.
Kindly, continue to keep the immediate family and indeed the body of Christ in Olive tree parish in your prayers.
