On December 16th, Members of the Nigerian Bar Association Bwari Branch, NAPTIP & Nigeria Police Force, took to markets, streets of Bwari Area Council to sensitize the residents on the need to SAY NO TO RAPE, SPEAK OUT WHEN RAPED.
The advocacy, was led by NBA Bwari Chairman, Monday Adjeh Esq.
The citizens they met during the walk/rally, were told their rights and educated on what to do if they are raped, or know someone who is raped or if they suspect that a minor is being sexually abused.
The advocacy was well received and those who were preached to, agreed to be vigilant and assist in making Bwari Area Council, RAPE FREE.
