An Abuja based lawyer, simply identified as Steve Eke, was last week, killed in a manner akin to assassination.
According to eye witnesses, he was shot in the presence of his son at the wife’s shop at Abacha Road. The assassins drove off in his car and dumped it at Zuma Rock.
As at today, a clear week after his murder, NBA Abuja, Nyanya-Karu, have not issued any statements or consoled the family.
We appeal to NBA President, to use his good offices, to compel the police to leave no stone unturned to unravel this raising wave of assassination of lawyers.
