The Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Alhaji Garba Abubakar has applauded the Minister of Industry Trade and Investment Otunba Niyi Adebayo for allowing agencies a free hand in discharging their respective mandates.
Alhaji Garba Abubakar stated this while delivering a good will message on behalf of Agencies and Parastatals under the FMITI at the 14th National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment (14th-NCITI) 2022.
This year’s event themed “Strengthening Industry, Trade and Investment Sector in
Promoting Development in the Country” is being held in Bauchi on 7th to 11th November,2022.
He further commended the Minister for the “timeous and flexible attention” he gave requests from agencies, especially approval for companies to hold meetings remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to
boost the economy.
He maintained that the measure was a big relief for public companies that needed to meet and take critical decisions to ensure their survival.
Meanwhile, some participants at the 14th NCITI have been visiting one of the major national monuments in the country, the tomb of Nigeria’s first prime minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa along Ran road, Bauchi.
CAC News reports that Mr. Terver Ayua-Jor, the Special Assistant to the Registrar General, and Ayomike Jolome, Assistant Director Registry, were among the visitors at the Tafawa Balewa Tomb in Bauchi.
