Young Lawyers Forum Chairman, NBA Owerri, replies NBA Owerri Chairman His Letter of Disclaimer Against A Young Lawyer.
”Disowning a Member of NBA Owerri Branch (a young Lawyer) for any reason is really defamatory and unacceptable by The Young Lawyers NBA Owerri Branch.
Waking up this morning with a sight of a notice of disclaimer disowning a Member of NBA Owerri Branch (Young Lawyer) signed by the Chairman and Secretary of Our Branch for writing a meritorious petition which he is entitled to against an aspirant running for National Publicity Secretary is a defamatory publication and dragging the whole branch in support of a candidate which ought not to be so.
I don’t know when it became a crime or an act unbecoming of a lawyer to write a petition for the interest of the Bar and for upholding the constitution of NBA.
I have gone through the said petition written by Francis Ajuruchi Esq. to the Electrical Commission, I am yet to see a Paragraph that mentioned that he wrote the petition for and on behalf of NBA Owerri Branch.
The Disclaimer Letter was written without a thorough investigation as to the membership of Francis Ajuruchi Esq. as the same persons that issued him with a membership ID card are same persons saying he is not a member of our branch through a Disclaimer Letter. *What an irony !*
Does it mean or could it be correct for me to say that these ID cards was issued to even none members of NBA Owerri Branch since a Lawyer disowned as a member of NBA Owerri Branch is holding our ID card issued by the secretary and signed by the Chairman of Our Branch. *I am just trying to understand the rationale behind the letter of Disclaimer*
Assuming a son goes astray, do you banish your son or call your son to order assuming without conceding that Francis Ajuruchi Esq. went astray.
This is indeed the height of this Election and Campaign which is not surpose to be seen amongst us Lawyers of NBA Owerri Branch.
To whom it may concern.
Please let the said Letter Disowning Francis Ajuruchi Esq. as a member of NBA Owerri Branch be withdrawn and an unreserved apology issued to him.
This letter is unspeakable and unsightable in all ramifications.
