Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, one of the 3 persons who had submitted nomination form to ECNBA to contest for Publicity Secretary, has called for a uniform diary for NBA.
He made this call, during his consultation with young lawyers in Ikeja.
According to him, there is need for all branches of NBA to know time, date and what activity others are doing. This he said, will help resolve the issue of two or more Branches conducting a program like Law Week at the same time and expect full participation from others. Like today, Tiger Bar, NBA Ikorodu and NBA Lagos are all having their May meeting at the same time.
He further stated that in this month of June, starting from Young Lawyers, through FIDA to the main branch, all have programs and their dates are clashing.
With uniform digitalized NBA diary, local branches can click on NBA website, know which date their counterparts have booked and adjust theirs. Only national programs should override any date chosen by a local branch.
