In a show of love, leadership and commitment to the welfare of lawyers, particularly Igbo lawyers in FCT Abuja, Chief Agabi SAN, gifted the apex Igbo lawyers association in Abuja, Otu Okaiwu 5 Million Naira in support of Otu Okaiwu Endowment Scheme.
The learned silk disclosed this during the March general meeting of Otu Okaiwu, held at the banquet hall, Merit house, Maitama, Abuja. During the meeting which he hosted, he was admitted as a full member of Otu Okaiwu.
The meeting commenced at about 4 pm with opening prayer and the agenda as signed by the President, Chief Ejiofor Onwuaso Esq and General Secretary, Dr. Nicholas I. Udeh reads;

In line with the philosophy of Otu Okaiwu, Onye aghana Nwanneya issues affecting Igbo lawyers practicing in FCT Abuja, were highlighted and resolutions passed on how to effectively resolve these issues. Members were urged to regularize their financial standing with the association.
Members who have political interest in NBA electioneering process, were called out and in other not to run foul of NBA rules, all those who came, did not indicate any position there are interested in, but merely mentioned their names and state of origin. They are; Ajuluchukwu Eze, Chidi Udekekwe, Chief Dan Nwobodo, among others. Those with intention but absent at today’s meeting were asked to reach out to the Exco.
After introduction of new members and those attending the meeting for the first time, closing prayers was said by Chief Dan Nwobodo and dinner was served.
