At a stakeholders meeting held on Tuesday, INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, warned that INEC, will prosecute anyone found inducing people to buy their votes or anybody soliciting to sell his or her votes. He also said that the use of cell phone at any Polling Unit (PU), is banned.
At the end of the stakeholders meeting, the political parties participating in the February 12 FCT Area Council Elections, were committed to peace pact by INEC.
