She further said the police were soliciting bribe, asked his brother and friends, to bring their big phones, they used to do yahoo-yahoo. The boys maintained their innocence.
Some passerby, recorded this police extortion and posted it online.
This generated comments and abuses on the police, with call on them to release the trio.
Angered by this exposure, the police detained them and insisted that they will not be released unless those who posted their ordeal online pulled it down and the 3 tender apology to the police and also pay N5000 each to secure their bail from Bwari Divisional Police Station.
The boys maintaining their innocence, refused to bulge, the police detained them and arraigned them today at Area Court Bwari.
