The battle of African eagles, ended with Super Eagles of Nigeria biting the dust. The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia triumphed, making it the 7th time they are beating the Super Eagles in their 21 meetings in all competitions.

Before Nigeria’s defeat by Tunisia, there was a dramatic, nail biting penalty shootout between Burkina Faso and Gabon. Burkina Faso won 7-6.
The round of 16 matches continue today with Guinea against Zambia being first match, while host country Cameroon will take giant killer, Comoros in the second match of the day.
