Ahead of the forthcoming Area Council Election, the Secretary Area Council Services, Mr.Ibrahim Dantsoho, has charged Chiefs and District Heads, in the FCT, to maintain peace in their domains. He made this call, while representing the FCT Minister at a visit to the palace of the the Sakaruyi of Karu Emmanuel Kyauta Yepwi.
He further urged them to desist from making political statements and openly supporting one candidate against the other in order not to cause troubles before, during, and after the election.
The FCT Area Council Election, comes up on the 12th of February, 2022.
