The Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has announced that the High Court of the FCT will commence its 2025 Annual Court Vacation on Monday, July 20, 2025, and will resume for the new legal year on Monday, September 14, 2025.
According to a circular dated June 17, 2025, and addressed to all Hon. Judges of the FCT High Court, the CJ invoked Order 48 Rule 4(e) of the FCT High Court Rules, 2025, which empowers him to determine the dates for the court’s annual vacation.
