It was with great sense of grief that I received the news of the transition of *My Lord, the Hon. Justice Muhammad Lawal Uwais, former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Without any iota of doubt, the legal profession will surely miss this towering figure whose life did not just shaped our corpus juris, but also molded generations of legal titans.
May Allah (SAW) accept his soul and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
