We were shocked to learn of the passing away of Hon. Justice Paul Idi Apollos (Rtd) on May 2, 2025.
As a distinguished jurist, he left an indelible mark on the legal landscape, inspiring generations
of lawyers and judges with his unwavering commitment to justice, integrity, and the rule of law.
Throughout his illustrious career, Justice Paul embodied the core values of the legal profession: wisdom, compassion, and an unwavering desire to uphold justice.
His legacy as a mentor to me and many others will continue to inspire future generations of legal professionals.
We celebrate a life dedicated to the service of humanity, the judiciary, and the Almighty God. His judicial comportment, “wisdom, and excellence will endure in the hearts of those he helped, inspired, and touched. Personally, he was more than a colleague or jurist; he was, and remains, my big brother.
Our deepest condolences and prayers go to his wife, family, the Bar and Bench.
May they find comfort and strength in this difficult time in the Lord Jesus our Redeemer.
May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in perfect peace in the Lord.
