In few days time, we will be going to the polls to elect National Officers that will pilot the affairs of our dear Association for the next two days.
This year’s election is a defining moment in the history of our dear Association. Over the years, Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN have demonstrated unusual insights on the numerous issues plaguing us as an Association.
We must have it at the back of our minds that Nations have risen and fallen over the quality of ideas that leadership espouses and pursues. Similarly, the quality of ideas that a leader pursues to implement will reflect on the quality of life of his people.
Fellow Colleagues, Afam Osigwe, SAN has proved to be a man of ideas. As lawyers, we can attest to the fact that the introduction of the Stamp and Seal is arguably one of the biggest achievements in our recent history as an Association and yours truly, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN played a pivotal role in its introduction.
The successful completion of the NBA National Secretariat is a testimonial of the fact that Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN if given the opportunity can build an Association all of us can be proud to identify with.
His Agenda for a Proactive Bar and not a reactive Bar speaks volume as we will not have an Association that prides itself in the issuance of Press Statement. We need an NBA that can bite and not Bark and Afam Osigwe represents that NBA.
There is no replacement for a brilliant, hardworking leader who is willing to engage in dialogues with the generality of members of the Bar in moving the Association forward.
Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN is more that capable of moving our Association from where it is now and making it the cynosure of all eyes.
NBA is in search of a Leader with Ideas and Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN represents and Idea whose time has come. Together, we can build an NBA of our dream.
