U.O. Usman SAN Receives Instrument Of Appointment.

Sequel to ratification of the nomination of Usman SAN to be Chairman of the National Officers’ Election Appeal Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association by NBA NEC Meeting held in Yola, NBA President, Y.C.Maikyau OON, SAN, has issued a letter of appointment to the Learned Silk.
The letter dated 25th April, 2024 which KUBWAEXPRESS has stumbled upon reads;
Dear Learned Silk,
APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN OF THE NATIONAL OFFICERS’ ELECTION APPEAL COMMITTEE.
 I am pleased to formally notify you of your appointment as Chairman of the National Officers’ Election Appeal Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, as ratified by the National Executive Council in its Emergency Meeting held on 20 April 2024, in Yola, Adamawa State. Pursuant to Section 14(2)(l) of the Constitution of the NBA, 2015 (as amended in 2021), the Committee is set up to receive and resolve electoral complaints and disputes arising from the election of National Officers and the election of representatives of the Association in the General Council of the Bar, in line with the relevant provisions of the Constitution.
Please note that there is no remuneration (howsoever defined) attached to your appointment, which was made in the knowledge and belief that you are capable and willing to contribute to the growth and development of the NBA with no expectations of any form of compensation.
For avoidance of doubt, however, all costs and expenses necessary for the execution of this task (including reimbursements for costs personally incurred in the course of this assignment) shall be adequately provided for by the NBA.
