The March meeting of NBA Isiokpo, evaporated into shouting disorderly conduct, getting to the threshold of legal pugilism.
According to an eyewitness, hell was let loose when the chairman refused to allow a motion to set aside the persons he nominated to be a member of the Branch’s Electoral Committee.
The witness states, “the chairman of Isiokpo branch of the NBA is worst than a military dictator. He constituted and eleco and forced it on members of the branch who vehemently opposed the selection of the chairman. (Attached is video of the rowdy meeting)
This is because he want a particular candidate to emerge in order to cover is financial records. In the meeting, a motion to set aside the nomination was not taken addressed by the chairman. A very senior member of the branch Kennedy Wali, moved the said motion and seconded by Nath Akpors but the chairman refused to listen which brought pandemonium and chaos which made the chairman to abandon the meeting .”
