The commendations came after a well-known land racketeering Mr. Taiwo Kadir Shote was arrested by quintessential and purposeful IGP Monitoring Unit ably led by DCP A.A Ellemen, the head of the IGP Monitoring Unit.
The said Taiwo Kadir Shote is currently under investigation for alleged offences of Forgery, Obtaining the sum of N432,000,000,00 under false pretence, Cheating and criminal breach of trust. The suspect never denied committing of the said offences and in fact had refunded to the nominal complainant the sum of N120,000,000 something in August 2022.The suspect allegedly defrauded and hoodwinked the nominal complainant that landed property measuring 11, 546.74 square meters situated along Ogombo Road Ogombo village in Eti-Osa Local government Area of Lagos State.
