My attention was brought to the passing of Pa Charles Idehen, a former president of the NBA and a prominent leader in the legal community, this morning by a former Chairman of my Local Branch of the NBA.
To my knowledge,Pa Charles Idehen, until his demise, stood as a community leader, a responsible family man, an accomplished lawyer, and a savvy businessman with significant investments in the hospitality and entertainment sector. 
Despite not having met him personally, I take pride in reading about how Epa, as he was affectionately known, adamantly upheld the rule of law in the face of tyranny.
While cherishing the positive memories of his life, my heartfelt condolences go out to his immediate family.
I pray they find strength in God to endure the loss of our former NBA president.
