Nigerian bloggers and plagiarism are like left hand and the buttocks!
Agreed we cannot be everywhere to witness a news item or reach those involved.
But it is intellectual theft to copy any person’s work, without acknowledging the author or the media from where you copied it from.
Each time I go through news link of Nigerian bloggers, who are hustling to be listed by Google based on traffic, goosebumps clog my brain as I see clearly intellectual laziness right and theft.
I hope we will not witness this year, Million Naira law suits against Nigerian bloggers?
I hope when it happens, we will not shout that some people are muzzling the press and threatening the freedom of speech, expression and right to share opinion.Dear blogger, if you use pictures that are not generated from the lens of your camera, acknowledge the source.
If you copy a story from any source other than your first hand experience of such events, acknowledge the source.
It will not cost you nothing but challenge you to go out and source for news in a unique manner that others too, will quote you as authentic source of News!
