The news of the demise of Arakunri Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, came as a big shock to us all.
Aketi, as he is fondly called was a fearless and courageous leader who is never afraid to speak truth to power.
As a former Bar President, NBA under his leadership made significant progress and confronted the menace of injustice and oppression in the country.
On the behalf of myself, the Executive Committee and the entire members of NBA Degema Branch, i condole with his immediate family, the government and people of Ondo State and the nation as a whole for the demise of a quintessential Bar man and the people’s Governor.
May his soul continue to rest in the blossom of our dear Lord, amen.
