The NBA President, Y.C.Maikyau SAN, has commiserated with the people of Ijagbo over the death of their traditional ruler, the Onijagbo, His Royal Highness Oba Salawudeen Olagunju Adeyeye Fagbemi (Obembe II).
The revered monarch passed on at the age of 110.
The late Onijagbo is the father of legal luminary, Prince Lateef Fagbemi(SAN).
The President of the NBA who was received by the elder brother of Prince Lateef Fagbemi SAN in his condolence message said “I have no doubt that our late father is one of the greatest souls that sojourned this planet earth because of the children that he has left behind so we are here to commiserate with the family on behalf of the entire legal profession in the country which I have the privilege of leading at this time as its President, we extend our condolence to the family and pray for the repose of the soul of our late father and we pray to God Almighty to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss”
The Chairman of NBA Offa, Dr B. L Ijaiya thanked the President for the visit, extolled the virtues of the Paramount Ruler and offered prayers to the family of deceased.
