African Women Lawyers Association, Nigeria (AWLA) is an International Association open to every trained female lawyer if African descent all over the World.
The vision is to build a balanced society by promoting, preserving and protecting the rights and interests of Women and Children in Africa.
We work hard work to enhance the legal status of Women and Children via activities such as: dissemination of information and knowledge via mass media, organizing symposia, seminars, workshops on matters affecting the Women and Children. Our outreaches cover prisons, hospitals,. people living with disabilities, old people’s homes etc.
We also organize empowerment programs to the indigent when we have been empowered ourselves.
