On Wednesday July 27th, at its General Assembly, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), will unveil Kano State-born Most Rev. Daniel Chukwudumebi Okoh, as the new president of CAN. The assembly also marks the end of the tenure of Samson Olusupo-Ayokunle.
CAN spokesman Joseph Daramola stated this in a press release on made available to newsmen on Tuesday.
Most Rev. Daniel Okoh is the general superintendent of Christ Holy Church, also known as Nation Builders (Odozi-Obodo).
Christ Holy Church International A.K.A Odozi-Obodo is an independent African church founded by Agnes Amanye Okoh in Nigeria in 1947.
CAN is made up of five blocs: Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN), Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN)/Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), (TEKAN and ECWA Fellowship).
