Ahead of Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) quarterly meeting holden in Calabar on the 3-4 of June, Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, has extended a warm welcome to all the members of EBF and “visitors” to Calabar.
Mr. Ashimole, is the only member of EBF vying for the post of Publicity Secretary and was on 7th May screened by EBF Adoption Committee sitting in Awka, Anambra State. Mr. Ashimole, is confident that the Calabar meeting of EBF will formally adopt him as the EBF Candidate for the office of Publicity Secretary while he awaits the decision of NBA Elections Appeal Committee.
The Electoral Committee of NBA (ECNBA), erroneously disqualified Mr. Ashimole for the office of Assistant General Secretary whereas he applied to serve the NBA as Publicity Secretary.
EBF is an formed in 2004, is an association of lawyer born in or practicing in any of the NBA Branches in the Old Eastern Region of Nigeria, now made of the following 9 states; Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Rivers.
One of the aims of EBF, is to assist her members to achieve their dreams, ambitions and goals within NBA.
