Since Benin NEC of 2016 where a knife was put through the tendon that holds them together, NBA Abuja has been fractured and two factions have been successfully operating and laying claim to the name Unity Bar.
Whatever be the cause of the disunity, Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, urges the leaders of the factions, to bury their deferences.
He further called on YC Maikyau SAN, whose friends are hosting today’s meeting of “Unity Bar”, to mediate, reconcile the factions and forge them back into the formidable united bar they were pre-2016.
He also congratulates friends of YC Maikyau and pray that they should be open to reconciliation and learn from the Learned Silk whom they are honoring today.
YC Maikyau SAN, is a man of peace, seasoned mediator, astute administrator and Felix Chukwuma Ashimole believes that, if given the chance, YC Maikyau SAN, will find a lasting solution to this Balkanization and restore unity to Unity Bar.
