I Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, call on MULAN to condemn the gruesome murder and burning of Deborah, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, (SSCOE) Sokoto, accused of blasphemy against the Prophet.
MULAN, should raise its voice and denounce this.
I also call on the Governor of Sokoto and Commissioner of Police to make sure that those murders who boldly made video of their dastard act, are arrested and prosecute.
Higher Institutions are where young men and women question authorities, propound theories, advance concepts that question the status quo and give birth to a new social order.
But in Nigeria, we throw our senses out and want young men not to reason but be bound by ancient dictates of gods that have lost their relevance!
Any god that requires humans to kill fellow humans to avenge insult and blasphemy against it, is an impotent god and should be discarded.
