My restless attention has been drawn to a report by Citylawyer.com brandishing a petition by one Mr. kayode Belo whom the blog described as, erstwhile student of the Nigerian Law School.”
By this alone, they shouldn’t have bothered as it is obvious that Mr. Kayode Belo is not a lawyer, a member of NBA and on what pedestal is he standing to write the petition?
Well, YC Maikyau SAN has a team that will do Justice to the so called petition.
But further reading will show that Kayode Belo has no understanding how the world revolves. A lawyer is not responsible for his clients disobedience of court order. The client has right to choose to further go on appeal or not.
That said, the blogger, should have done background check on Mr. Kayode Belo and research what took him out of Law School, what happened to his lawyers, who took up his matter and why he kept changing lawyers(he has right to.)
