Muslim faithfuls in Kubwa, today joined their faithful counterparts all over Nigeria, to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
Today’s prayer, took place at the Phase 3 Junction, Eid Praying Ground.
The Chief Imam of the Phase 3 Junction Eid Praying Ground admonished the Muslim Community in Kubwa to adhere strictly the lessons and the the teaching of Ramadan.
He also called on the government of the day to work assiduously to bring an end to the security situation all over the country.
Eid al-Fitr erroneously called small Sallah, is a celebration to mark the end of the Holy month of Ramadan. Strictly speaking, there is no slaughter of rams or any other animal but giving of gifts to people, especially in front of the mosque, is encouraged.
